DIVISIONS BY AGE

12 U:  Players who are 12 y/o through the cut–off date: June 1st

14 U:  Players who are 14 y/o through the cut–off date: June 1st

Varsity:  Highschool players over 15 y/o

OUR SEASON

Our Season begins with tryouts in January, followed by practices and 7 v 7 Tournaments which continue through May.

OUR PRACTICES

We practice Monday through Thursdays at St. Thomas Aquinas Highschool, Fort Lauderdale.    

TOURNAMENTS

Practice and Tournament Schedules are provided when our Season begins. Tournaments will be local and out of town. 

TRYOUTS

Tryouts are announced in December and take place in January.  

OUR COACHES

Our Coaches are experienced athletes and committed to the growth and development of each Player. They provide leadership and guidance with an emphasis on the importance of Character, Commitment, Self-Confidence, Responsibility and Teamwork, while teaching the fundamentals necessary to achieve the highest level of skill needed to excel as a Player.

PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

The commitment to the personal growth and development of each Player begins with the Players Parent or Guardian. Parents and guardians are expected to be as committed to the Florida Stars as the Players and the Coaches. A Parent / Guardian meeting will be held before try-outs and after the Players are selected.
